Rotogravure Print

The gravure printing process is to make the entire surface of the printing plate full of ink, and then use a special scraping mechanism to remove the ink in the blank part so that the ink only remains in the cells of the graphic part, and then under the action of greater pressure, the ink is removed. The ink is transferred to the surface of the substrate to obtain a print.

In addition to the surface printing of kraft paper, the gravure printing process is the inner printing of the printing film, that is, the inner printing cannot remove the pattern and text on the surface.

The Advantages Of The Rotogravure Print:

● Thick ink layer and bright colors

● Printing resistance, relatively low cost

● Softer Printing Effect

● Wide applications of advanced crafts

● Strong comprehensive ability of gravure printing equipment

Gravure Printing Principle:

The blank part of the plate roller should be different from the text part of the printed picture and the height

Blank parts are on the same plane or surface

Depressed pictures and text form cells to hold ink

The depression depth of the plate roller corresponds to the level of the manuscript. The darker the image, the greater the depression depth.
