Measure your three most common orders rather than your largest one, and cut a box to each. Carriers bill on dimensional weight, so a size down across a range usually recovers the tooling cost inside the first month — and you stop paying void fill at the same time.
3,000 units per size, with a production time of 4–5 weeks after proof approval. We supply a free white mock-up cut to your dimensions first, so you can put your actual product in it before anything is printed.

It depends on where your customers live. Compostable film only breaks down in an industrial composting facility, so if that route is not available locally it ends up in landfill like any other plastic. Recycled-content poly goes into existing streams and reduces virgin material use today. We supply both and will not push you toward the one that reads better on the bag.
